There are many playing modes, each one will reward you with some EXP points if you guess the meaning of the character.
New users should start with katakana or hiragana to take a look at how it works, and how EXP (experience) points are earned.
If you can't remember or just want to learn interactively, there's also a HINT button that will help you to solve but will also
rob you some points. Have fun!
Main classes
These are the main game modes. EXP-Kanji will guide you from easy characters to the hardest one gradually. It will recognize your skill and show you affordable kanjis. Playing kanas gives you some EXP easily while you're still a novice here. They also make you appear in the kanaers ladder!Kanji EXP-based, dynamic symbols: start
This is the real game! This class shows you only a subset of kanji, based upon your level and your current EXP points. This has a steep learning curve, things will be easy initially and become harder only if you recognize correctly presented kanjis.Hiragana, 73 symbols: start
Easy class. Only hiraganas will be showed to you, guess their pronunciation correctly and you will gain a few EXP points.Katakana, 73 symbols: start
Easy class. Only katakanas will be showed to you. When you play kana classes you will also increase your "kanaer" points!Absolute classes
No matter what your level is, these classes will present you a FULL set of symbols! This can be hard, you have been warned!Kanji level 1, 80 symbols: start
Not-so-easy class. Full level one presented to you. Way more EXP earned than kanas.Kanji level 2, 166 symbols: start
Medium class. Full level two presented to you. Still affordable anyway.Kanji level 3, 740 symbols: start
